Just a reminder...we have a show at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix on September 3rd, so come see us! The doors open at 7:30pm and it's FREE! It will be our last show in the 602 for a while because we are leaving on Saturday for a little east coast swing. We're starting out in Kentucky, then Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, Minnesota, Pennsylvania...so pray for us as we take a road trip.

Also, our new website should be up sometime in the next week and the web addy is www.stellarkart.com so keep checking it, it will be up soon. This site will have our tour dates and much more.

Well, it's official...we are now signed! We signed the contract from Word Records/Warner Brothers today at about 1pm. I hope you guys are as excited as we are!

We are continuing to book up the fall and as soon as we get our dates confirmed, we'll let you know. We are now booking shows through Right Lane Artist Agency so if you would like us to come to your church, club, house, or arena :) visit www.rlaa.net and we'd love to play.

We are playing a show on September 3rd at Grand Canyon University with Sky Harbor. Come on out and see a couple AZ bands! It will be fun.

Thanks to everyone that came to the show on friday night! we had a great time despite a few sound problems. it was great to see all of you from Journeys camp again! thanks also to set apart and thirte fs for playing w/ us.

THIS IS THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... Sonburn is changing our name officially at our next show, AUGUST 20,2004. We just found out that our new name cleared legally and is now trademarked. So...the new name is...STELLAR KART. There you have it. :)

Our new website is going to be www.stellarkart.com and will be up and running soon. Now that our new name has cleared, our contract should be completed very soon, maybe even next week. Here is the info for our concert next friday...

We are almost done with our record contract and should hear back this week about our new band name. Check back every couple days and I'll update you this week about new developments.

In other news, we are playing a show in Phoenix on August 20th! I'll have more details soon, so stay tuned. We can't wait to play a show here in Phoenix, it's gonna be stellar. Go buy our EP in any christian book store if you don't have it already.

hey everyone!

ok, so it's been awhile since the last post, but if you're reading this, you obviously check this thing pretty regularly so you're glad that there's a new post regardless of how long it's been since the last one. ok. we are finishing up the contract stuff with our record label...this process just takes some time, but it's almost over! also, we are planning out our fall tour dates and i promise we will have an actual real working website (that stays up so you can read it everyday that is updated and did i mention it will actually work?)  to show you those dates.

what's new? i'm glad you asked...our full length record is set to be released in early '05, probably february. we will continue selling ep's until then. you will most definately be informed of the exact date when we know it.

OK, NOW FOR THE BREAKING NEWS YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR...
->the rumors are true. we are changing our band name. but i can't tell you what the new name is yet because we have to wait for it to clear legally. i can tell you that SONBURN did not clear and would have created a legal conflict had we tried to keep that name. i know it's sad. we will hopefully know in about a week if this new name will work. 
we're starting a new chapter in our lives by signing this record deal and we're excited about a fresh new start with a new name. we hope you are too.
